The playoff pairings for the Section II Field Hockey Tournament have been released and the Adirondack-Wasaren League is well represented in the Class C bracket.
Hoosick Falls who plowed through league play undefeated is the #1 seed in Class C. The Panthers received a first round bye and will await the winner of the contest between #5 Salem-Cambridge and #4 Schuylerville. The Black Horses will host that game Thursday.
Granville is the #3 seed and will open the tournament against #6 Greenwich at home on Thursday at 3 p.m. The Golden Horde won two tight games over the Witches during the regular season.
The semifinals will be contested on Oct. 27th with the championship games being hosted by Schuylerville on Oct. 30th.
