Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Report, I'm Keith Harrington.
Proctor Edges Arlington
Arlington pushed the three time defending champions to the limit, but Proctor was able to pull out a 2-1 victory over the Eagles Thursday at Taraovich Field.
Isabel Greb scored two goals and Emma Palmer assisted on both to lead Proctor.
The Phantoms scored in the first half with Palmer feeding Greb for a 1-0 lead.
Palmer set up Greb again early in the second half to extend the Proctor lead to 2-0.
Arlington sliced their deficit in half with 17 minutes to play on a goal from Taylor Wilkins but the Phantoms held on for the win.
Cadence Goodwin stopped a penalty kick late in the game for Proctor.
Goodwin stopped 20 shots for the Phantoms.
Proctor is 2-1. Arlington is 0-2.

Warriors Blank Railroaders in Girls Soccer
Lake George traveled to Whitehall and came away with a 3-0 win in Adirondack League girls soccer.
Lila Frasier scored two goals for the Warriors. Tiffany Cornelius also found the back of the net for Lake George.
Samantha Gorey assisted on both of Frasier's goals.
Alex Cavalier earned the shutout in goal for the Warriors with four saves.
Khloe Paddock had seven saves for the Railroaders.

Hartford Tops Fort Edward in Volleyball
Hartford began their Adirondack League campaign with a 3-1 win over Fort Edward in high school volleyball. The Tanagers lost the first set but narrowly won the next three in a close battle.
Set scores were 22-25, 25-22, 25-21 and 25-18.
Addison Potts and Ava Nadeau had six digs each for Hartford.
Cassandra Wade had 20 assists for Hartford.
For Fort Edward, Haley Saunders had 14 service points, 12 digs, six aces and two blocks.
Natalie Durkee and Lynelle Colvin added four kills apiece. Durkee also had 16 assists, 11 points and two aces. Colvin chipped in 13 digs and five points.
Hartford is 1-0, 1-1.

Hadley-Luzerne and Fort Ann Play to a Draw
Fort Ann rallied with a late goal to earn a 1-1 tie with Hadley-Luzerne in Adirondack League girls soccer.
The Eagles took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by Carolina Lott-Diamond. Hannah Johnson had the helper.
Paige Trzaskos tied the game off an assist from Angel Aratare with 1:29 left in regulation.
Neither team could find the back of the net during the two overtime sessions.
Madison Lent had 25 saves for Hadley-Luzerne. Baylee Wright stopped 14 shots for the Cardinals.
Hadley-Luzerne is 1-0-1. Fort Ann is 1-0-1, 3-0-1.

Bolton-Warrensburg Cruises Past Cougars
Bolton-Warrensburg stayed perfect on the season as they cruised past North Warren 11-0 in Adirondack League girls soccer.
Ella Moskov scored five goals and Karla Sherman two more for B-W.
Ella York, Ila Hubert, Kara Bacon and Kailey Bacon also scored.
Hope Sherman earned the shutout in goal.
Ruth Brior stopped 23 shots for the Cougars.
The teams played 8 on 8 in the second half due to North Warren injuries.
Bolton-Warrensburg is 2-0, 4-0.

West Rutland Rolls Over Twin Valley
West Rutland had no issues finding the back of the net as they rolled over Twin Valley 9-0 in girls soccer.
Peyton Guay had a huge game, scoring two goals and dishing out three asssts for the Golden Horde.
Hannah Cecot scored twice including her first career goal.
Camryn Williams, Aubrey Beaulieu and Arianna Coombs also scored.
Coombs added a pair of helpers.
