Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Report, I'm Keith Harrington.


Argyle Defeats Hadley-Luzerne in ADK Volleyball


Argyle bounced back from a loss to Lake George with a 3-1 win over Hadley-Luzerne in Adirondack League volleyball.


Carrie Humiston helped lead the Scots with four aces and four kills.


Sarah Gaulin had four kills. Emilie Wood added nine kills and two blocks. Kylee Humiston finished with six digs, three kills and two assists.


Jordanna Kenny paced the Eagles with 13 kills and four blocks. Riley Daniels added three aces and two kills. Jenna Shannon had a solid match with seven assists, five service points and five kills.


Argyle is 1-1 on the season.

Fort Ann Edges Cougars on Paige Goal


Fort Ann got a goal from Jackson Paige in overtime to edge North Warren 2-1 in Adirondack League boys soccer.


The Cardinals took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal from Tyler Winchell. Riley Barnes assisted.


The Cougars equalized on a James Conway goal off a pass from Coleman Swartz with 32:13 to go setting up the extra session.

Fair Haven Falls to Bellows Falls


Fair Haven traveled to Bellows Falls Friday night for a much anticipated contest between potential Division II contenders. The Slaters were within striking distance in the fourth quarter but the Terriers were able to hang on for a 35-19 victory at Hadley Field.


Bellows Falls jumped out to a 14-0 lead, but a the Slaters rallied to within 14-6 heading to the final quarter on a Joe Buxton TD run.


Buxton also connected on a scoring pass to Carson Babbie.


A Walker James touchdown made it 28-6 in the fourth and put it away for the Terriers.


Bellows Falls is 2-0. Fair Haven is 1-1.

Lake George Blanks Granville in Boys Soccer


Granville stayed close for a half, but Lake George netted four goals in the second half to blank the Golden Horde 6-0 in Adirondack League boys soccer.


Jack Sullivan hit the back of the net twice to lead the Warriors.


Jack Clark, Nick Haverly, Chris Henry and Haider Tariq also scored for Lake George.


Matt Vladyka did his best to keep the Golden Horde close with 24 saves.
