Granville Will Forfeit Football Opener Due to Covid
I received a message from Granville footballl coach John Irion that his team's season opener against Chatham this weekend will be a forfeit win for the Panthers due to the Golden Horde being forced to go on pause because of positive Covid tests.
"We won't have enough kids because of quarantine," Irion said.
Irion is hopeful that Granville will be able to return to action in Week #2.
"Most come back Monday and a few Tuesday so we'll see," Irion added.
