Fair Haven Field Hockey Grabs Win

The Fair Haven field hockey team snapped a long losing streak, and they did it in a big way! The Slaters shutout Springfield 6-0 in SVL action.

Tegan Hoard led Fair Haven with a pair of goals. Jaylena Haley also tallied twice.

Emily Higgins and Vivian Ladabouche also hit the back of the cage for Fair Haven.

Fair Haven is now 1-1.


Lake George Defeats Granville in Opener

Lake George rolled to their 56th straight Adirondack League win as they went on the road and shutout Granville 7-0 in the league opener.

Lake George led 3-0 at the half and scored four more goals in the second half.

Lila Frasier and Samantha Gorey did all the work on offense for the Warriors. Frasier scored four times and Gorey chipped in a hat trick of her own.

Gorey also had a pair of assists.

Alivia Dean had two saves for Lake George and Alexandra Cavalier one as they combined for the shutout.

Kierra Rice had nine saves for Granville.

Lake George is 1-0. Granville is 0-1.


Fort Ann Boys Crusie Over Johnsburg

The Fort Ann boys soccer team jumped out to a 4-0 lead at the half and went on to cruise past Johnsburg 5-1 on non-league boys soccer.

Will Anderson scored two goals for the Cardinals.

Riley Barnes ,Alejandro Stowhas and Tyler Winchell also scored for Fort Ann.

Yanden Cleveland scored for the Jaguars.

Dylan Brown was solid in goal for the Cardinals.

Fort Ann is 1-0. Johnsburg is 0-1.
