Arlington Hands Poultney First Loss
Poultney was playing shorthanded under the lights at Arlington Tuesday night and suffered their first loss of the season as they fell to the Eagles 3-0.
One of the players the Blue Devils were missing was standout goalie Kenzie Ezzo. Hannah Webster filled in for Ezzo and played well in the goal.
Sidney Herrington scored a pair of goals for Arlington. Maria O’Dea also found the back of the net.
Poultney goes to 3-1 on the season.

Granville Falls to Bolton-Warrensburg
The Granville girls soccer team played well, but fell to a powerful Bolton-Warrensburg team on the road.
B-W led 5-0 at the half, but the Golden Horde continued to battle, scoring three second half goals.
Kara Bacon and Gabby Mowery both recorded hat tricks for B-W.
Hannah Ingleston, Madeline Johnson and Laura Arnhold all connected on goals for Granville.
Hope Sherman and Ellie York combined for three saves in goal for B-W.
Bolton-Warrensburg is 4-0. Granville is 1-2.

Whitehall Rolls Past North Warren
Whitehall bounced back from a loss to Hadley-Luzerne in the season opener as the rolled past North Warren 7-1. The Railroaders 4-1 at halftime and pulled away from there.
Madison Gould led the way with a hat trick for Whitehall.
Alexis MacLeod, Brooklyn VanGuilder, Kamryn Baldwin and Ava Ruby also scored for the Railroaders.
Jayden Hughes had a pair of assists. Baldwin also chipped in a helper.
Nicole Buckman scored for the Cougars. Sarah Whitman assisted on the Buckman tally.
Dory Gosselin stopped three shots for the Railroaders. Ruth Briar had 21 saves for North Warren.
Whitehall is 1-1, 1-1. North Warren is 0-3, 1-3.

Fort Ann and Corinth Play Even
Going back to the Fall II season in the spring it seems like every time Fort Ann and Corinth meet on the pitch it is a close battle. Often taking extra time. Tuesday was no exception. The Cardinals and Tomahawks played to a 1-1 overtime tie in Adirondack League action.
Olivia Winchell scored for Fort Ann in the first half. Riley Encheandia picked up the assist.
Alexis Crossman tied the game for Corinth with 1:28 to play in the contest.
Baylee Wright had 10 saves for the Cardinals. Lorelei Peterson had nine saves for Corinth.
Fort Ann is 1-1-1, 4-1-1. Corinth is 1-1-1, 2-1-1.

Hadley-Luzerne Tops Salem
Hadley-Luzerne and Salem were tied 0-0 at the half, but the Eagles exploded in the second half for a 4-1 Adirondack League girls soccer win.
Carolina Lott-Diamond stayed red hot for Hadley-Luzerne, finding the back of net four times for the Eagles.
Amber Terry scored off an assist from Sierra Phillips for the Generals.
Madison Lent had five saves for Hadley-Luzerne. Katie Sweenor stopped 11 shots for Salem.
Hadley-Luzerne is 3-0, 3-1. Salem is 0-3, 0-3.
