Martens Host Providence Tonight!

Last week I wrote a story promoting a big night coming up for the Bennngton Martens, the new local team that competes in the American Basketball Association. Well, tonight is the night as the Martens host the Providence Pirates in what is being billed as the "Thanksgiving Weekend Rematch."

Bennington and Providence will go toe to toe on the Marten's current home floor at Heritage Family Arena in Rutland, formerly the CSJ gym.

There will be plnety of fun events for the fans, as well as some entertaining professional basketball. There will be raffles throughout the contest with great prizes for those in attendance. The night will also include plenty of fun games for the entire to participate in and a meet and greet with Marten's players.

If you are looking for some exciting sports entertainment to round out your Thanksgiving break without traveling a long distance, head over to Rutland tonight to cheer on the Bennington Martens.

Game time is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
