Well, even though I had a great time yesterday was not a banner day for my picks. Sort of. I only gace you one winner, however a majority of the horses I gave you yesterday finished in the money. I personally tried a new strategy and played 10 cent superfectas all day. That didn't exactly work out the best for me, but experimentation is good right?
Yesterday's winners: Just Cindy in the Schuyerville Stakes.
The first of two feature races comes in Race #8 with the $150,000 Coronation Cup Stakes, 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf for three year old fillies.
The morning line favorite is the Irish bred Twilight Gleaming for Wesley Ward. This horse gets Irad Ortiz Jr. and had four wins and three seconds in seven career starts. She has won of the top speed figures in the race and is simply the horse to beat.
Another horse to watch is Empress Tiger with John Velazquez. This fillie is lightly raced with only one start, but won that race and had the speed figure to compete with the favorite.
Static Fire with Julien Leparoux is 2 for 2 in her career and has a win at Sartoga to her credit last season.
Race #9 is the Forbidden Apple Stakes for four year olds and up. The morning line favorite is Great Britin's Set Piece Brad Cox with Florent Geroux up. Lurking however is Art Collector on the "Also Eligible" list who will be the horse to beat if her gets in the field.
Chad Brown has a pair of runners in here and one of them, the #7 Public Sector is my pick in here. Irad Ortiz Jr. rides this British horse and that is a deadly combination.
Analyze It, the other Chad Brown horse is one to watch and never count out a horse like City Man with the Joel Rosario and Christophe Clement connection.
*Add #13 into the mix if Art Collector moves into the field.*
Good luck everyone!
