Proctor Defeats Poultney in Girls Soccer
The three-time defending state champion Proctor Phantoms continued to flex their muscles Tuesday as they defeated Poultney 6-2 in a Division IV match at Taranovich Field.
Poultney scored first when Annie Taylor scored off a Kait DeBonis pass.
Proctor equalized 13 seconds later on a goal by Isabel Greb.
The Phantoms increased their lead on a pair of goal from Jenna Davine to make it 3-1.
Poultney scored the first goal of the second half off a Kaydyn L'Esperence pass that Emma Kelley converted to make it 3-2.
Proctor scored the next three goals to put the game away. Greb scored two more goals and Emma Palmer converted a pass from Davine to provide the final margin of victory.
Goalie Kenzie Ezzo recorded 13 saves for Poultney. Cadence Goodwin stopped 10 shots for Proctor.
Proctor is 5-1. Poultney who hadn't played in nearly two weeks falls to 1-1.

Bolton-Warrensburg Blanks Fort Ann
Bolton-Warrensburg stayed unbeaten on the season, blanking Fort Ann 5-0. It was the first league loss for the Cardinals.
Kara Bacon led B-W with a hat trick.
Ella Moscov and Madison Goodspeed also scored for the Eagles.
Hope Sherman earned her sixth shutout of the year for B-W with two saves.
Bolton is 4-0, 7-0. Fort Ann is 2-1-2, 3-1-2.

Hadley-Luzerne Rolls Over Scots
Hadley-Luzerne raced out to a big lead at the half and went on roll over Argyle 5-1 in Adirondack League boys soccer.
The Eagles led the Scots 4-0 at the half.
Evan Kader had a hat trick to lead Hadley-Luzerner.
Caden Wilson added two goals and two assists.
Connor Brockway had the lone goal for Argyle.
Brayden Mahon had 11 saves for the Eagles.

Granville-Whitehall Boys, Corinth/Hadley-Luzerne Girls Sweep
In a meet hosted by Granville, the Granville-Whitehall boys swept their races, while Corinth-Hadley-Luzerne swept the girls meet.
Granville-Whitehall defeated Corinth/Hadley-Luzerne 25-32 and Warrensburg 15-inc.
The Corinth/Hadley-Luzerne girls team defeated both the incomplete Granville-Whitehall and Warrensburg teams.
Warrensburg's Brody Olden won the boys race with a time of 17:04.
Amber Gibbs of Granville-Whitehall won the girls event with a 20:33.
