Whitehall Nips Ticonderoga to Even Mark

The Ticonderoga girls soccer team must be feelng a little jinxed against Adirondack League opponents to begin the season. After falling to Fort Ann 1-0 in double overtime a couple of days ago, the Sentinels fell to Whitehall 1-0 in the final minutes of a non-league contest Thursday.

The Railroaders and Ticonderoga were locked in a 0-0 game with under three minutes to go. Ava Ruby then found the back of the net for the game-winner with 2:48 to play to hand Whitehall the win.

No other details are available at this time.
