Locals Named to Vermont State Soccer All-Stars
The Vermont Soccer Coaches Association named their 2022 girls and boys state soccer all-stars on Monday. Several local players were recognized.
In Division IV girls Proctor, MSJ and West Rutland each placed three players on the team.
For the Phantoms, Jenna Davine, senior midfielder; Isabel Greb, sophomore forward and Emma Palmer, freshman forward were selected.
Named to the team from MSJ were Isabela Anderson, eighth-grade midfielder; Emma Blodorn, junior back and Lauren Costales, senior forward.
Representing Westside are Brianna Coombs, senior forward; Peyton Guay, sophomore forward and Emma Sevigny, senior back.
Poultney placed one player on the team. Senior midfielder Hannah Welch.
In girls Division III Fair Haven had three players selected. Lily Briggs, junior midfielder; Brittney Love, senior midfielder and Elizabeth Love, sophomore back all were honored from the Slaters.
In Division II Otter Valley's junior goalkeeper Linnea Faulkner was selected.
In Division I Rutland: Mackenize McLaughlin, senior back and Bethany Solari, junior forward were recognized.
In boys Division IV Proctor and MSJ placed two players each on the all-stars.
Joel Denton, senior forward; and Matt Nop, junior midfielder were selected from the Phantoms.
For MSJ Dominic Valente, senior back and Brian Pierce, senior back were recognized.
West Rutland's sophomore midfielder Tristan Rocke also was selected.
In Division III Senior back Noah Beayon was named an all-star.
Otter Valley's junior forward Owen Thomas represents the Otters.
In Division I senior back Eli Rosi wasnamed fromRutland.
