Border Country Sports-November 10th

Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Report, I'm Keith Harrington.

Just a heads up that I will not be posting a blog tomorrow. Family duty calls. I will be heading to Massachusetts as my son begins his college visitation tour. It is a very exciting time for our family. Terrence is a great student with the world at his fingertips and I look forward to this journey for the next four plus years.

I will be back this weekend with regional volleyball, football playoff action and state cross country meet coverage.

SVL Field Hockey All-Stars

The Southern Vermont League recently names the SVL Field Hockey All-Stars for the 2022 season. Local teams Fair Haven, Rutland and Otter Valley were well represented.

Paityn DeLong and Jaylena Haley received honorable mention for the Slaters.

Otter Valley’s Ryleigh LaPorte, Mackenzie McKay and Sydney Gallo were also selected to the first team.

Lily Morgan received honorable mention from the Otters.

Rutland was represented on the Division A first team by Jillian Perry and Sierra McDermott.

Jaryn Mazzariello-Peer and Emma Cosgrove received honorable mention recognition.
