Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Report, I'm Keith Harrington.


Salem Rolls Past Hartford in TCML Softball


Salem took command in the first two innings and went on to roll over Hartford 15-2 in TCML softball action. Salem had 10 hits on the evening and took advantage of seven Hartford fielding errors.


Salem scored five runs in the first and tacked on three more in the second to lead 8-0 and never looked back.


Bella Eastman picked up the win in the circle for Salem.


Kady Crosier was 3 for 3 at the plate with a double. Jenna McCauliffe and Meredith Barrett each added doubles. Both McCauliffe and Barrett finished the contest 2 for 5.


Riley Kober was 1 for 3 with a double for Hartford.


Salem raises their mark to 4-0. Hartford is 1-2.

Hadley-Luzerne Cruises Past Argyle


Hadley-Luzerne jumped out to an 11-0 lead after three innings and went on to cruise past Argyle 14-2 in TCML baseball.


Hadley-Luzerne scored seven runs in the first, one in the second and three in the third to put this one away early.


Dan Deuell fired a two-hitter on the mound for Hadley-Luzerne.


Deuell also excelled at the plate, going 3 for 4 and scoring three runs.


Taylor Smead was 2 for 4 with a double for Hadley-Luzerne. Jacob Bristol andShane Carlton both added doubles.
