Later this week a major anouncement will be coming about the future of Border Country Sports. It is very exciting stuff. Stay tuned!
Opening Day at Saratoga Tomorrow
Time sure flys by doesn't it? It seems like only yesterday that I was walking out of the Saratoga Race Course for the final time last summer. I remember thinking to myself, "Man, I have to wait a whole year before I can experience this again."
And now in the blink of an eye, the Saratoga meet is here. I love it. Saratoga is my favorite time of the year. Being a race horse owner myself as a partner in America's Pastime Stable, I live for summer at "The Spa."
Tomorrow there will be two feature races to kick off the season. The $135,000 Wilton Stakes and the #175,000 Schuylerville. I will have my picks for both tomorrow morning!
The biggest race of the season, the 1.25 million Run Happy Travers is set to be contested on Saturday, August 26th.
