Fort Ann Edges Ticonderoga in Girls Soccer
Fort Ann won their second straight game to start the season in dramatic fashion. It took two overtmes for the Cardinals to edge Ticonderoga in a non-league match.
The game was tied 1-1 at the half and stayed that way until the second extra session when Riley Echeandia hit the back of the net at the 8:39 mark to hand Fort Ann the win.
Echeandia gave the Cardinals a 1-0 lead off an assist from Olivia Winchell at the 9:49 mark.
Andrea Cooke got the Sentinels even at the 16:09 mark.
Baylee Wright recorded 10 saves for Fort Ann. Lizzie Rich had 14.saves for Ticonderoga.
Fort Ann is 2-0. Ticonderoga is 0-1.

Mowery Sets Bolton-Warrensburg Assist Record in Victory
Gabby Mowery became the Bolton-Warrensburg all-time assist leader as her squad opened the season with a 4-0 victory over Northville in non-league girls high school soccer. Mowery now has 62 career assists.
B-W scored two goals in the first half and two more in the second to pull away from the Falcons.
Ella Moskov had a huge game as she scored all four goals for B-W.
Skyler Scott also picked up an assist.
Hope Sherman stopped four shots to earn the shutout in goal. Emma Peck had seven saves for Northville.
Bolton-Warrensburg is 1-0. Northville is 0-1.
