Whitehall Edges Cardnals in Girls Soccer
The Whitehall girls soccer team picked up their biggest win of the year as they edged Fort Ann 1-0 at Fort Ann on Tuesday.
It was the third win in a row for the Railroaders and just the second ADK loss of the season for Fort Ann.
The teams were tied 0-0 at the half and it stayed that way until late in regulation time.
Madison Gould finally broke the deadlock when she hit the back of the net at the 69.12 mark.
Dory Gosselin had three saves for the Railroaders to earn the shutout. Baylee Wright had three saves for the Cardinals.
Whitehall raised their mark to 4-3, 5-5. Fort Ann falls to 5-2-1, 8-3-1.

Hartford Rolls Over Spa Catholic
Hartford took a night off from the Adirondack League and used it to travel to Spa Catholic. The Tanagers came back home with a 3-0 sweep of the Saints in high school volleyball.
Set scores were 25-14, 25-15 and 25-18.
Izzy French had a stellar match for Hartford with 20 assists. Soleia Lamoureux continued her recent solid play with 18 digs. Karlee Nims had 14 kills and Sarah Monroe eight kills.
Kara Wengert had 13 digs for Spa Catholic. Liz Best had seven service points and Allison Motler six assists and four kills.
Hartford is 6-2, 9-2. Spa Catholic is 7-3, 7-4.

Woodstock Blanks Fair Haven
The Fair Haven boys soccer team was close, but still finds themselves looking for their first win of the season as they were blanked by Woodstock 2-1.
Nick Carrabino scored the goal for the Slaters. Jack Almeida picked up the assist for Fair Haven.
Noah Woodberry played well in goal for the Slaters.
Woodtsock is 5-4. Fair Haven is 0-8-1.

Windsor Wins Shootout Over Fair Haven Field Hockey
It may not have been a win, but the Fair Haven Slaters played well, falling to a strong Windsor team 5-3.
The Slaters took a 1-0 lead on a goal from Jaylena Haley, but the Yellowjackets fought back to take the victory.
Emilee Higgins and Alana Williams also hit the back of the cage for Fair Haven.
Bailey Pettis played well in the cage for the Slaters.
Fair Haven is 2-5-1 on the season. They will play another strong opponent tonight when they play a Granville team that is one of the top in the Adirondack-Wasaren League. That game is paer of the Granville "Lights Week" and faces off at 7 p.m.
