Blue Devils Avenge Loss to Eagles
The last time the Poultney girls soccer team played Arlington the Blue Devils were missing some players due to Covid protocols. The Eagles topped Poultney that day on their home pitch. Tuesday the Blue Devils were at full strength and it showed as they came away with a 2-1 victory at home in an SVL match.
Hannah Welch converted a penalty kick to give Poultney a 1-0 lead at the half.
Hannah Webster scored in the second half to give the Blue Devils at 2-0 advantage.
Goalie Kenzie Ezzo and the Poultney defense made the lead hold up as the Blue Devils grabbed perhaps their most impressive win of the year.
Poultney is now 6-4-1 on the season.

B-W Advances to Adirondack League Title Game
The Bolton-Warrensburg girls soccer team punched their ticket to the Adirondack League title game on Tuesday with a 3-0 win over Corinth in the semifinals. B-W will meet either Lake George or Fort Ann Saturday in the championship game at SUNY Adirondack.
Skylar Scott gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead with a first half goal with an assist from Gabby Mowery.
Ella Moscov scored a pair of second half goals to ensure the win for B-W. Mowery and Maddie Goodspeed picked up assists.
Hope Sherman had the shutout in goal for the Eagles with five saves. Lorelai Peterson had nine saves for the Tomahawks.
Bolton-Warrensburg is 7-0-1, 11-1-2. Corinth is 4-1-3, 7-2-4.

Lake George Stays Unbeaten in ADK Volleyball
Lake George stayed unbeaten by cooling off a Granville team that came in hot with a 3-0 win.
Set scores were 25-4, 25-11, 25-11.
Evie Burke had a stong match for the Warriors with 19 service ponts, 11 assists, five kills, 19, and 3 aces. Shannon Starratt had seven assists, two kills, four digs, eight service points, and 5 aces. Maddie Burke contibuted 11 digs, three service points, and two aces, while Olivia Gates had seven kills, nine service points, and three aces.
Granville was paced by Kaelyn Dekalb had four digs, one ace, and five service points. Lilly Strout had three blocks and a dig. Mara Haskins had four service points, including an ace.
Lake George is 10-0, 12-0. Granville is 4-5, 4-5.

Hartford Boys Defeat Warrensburg in Cross Country
Warrensburg swept the top two spots, but Hartford took three of the next four spots to take the team win over an incomplete Burghers team.
Warrensburg's Brody Olden took the win over the 3 mile course with a time of 19:02. Brayden Olden of the Burghers was second with a 20:08.
Hartford's Logan Reynolds was third with a 20:57. Bryton Mandigo of the Tanagers was fourth with a 21:41.
Joseph Cain of Warrensburg rounded out the top five at 22:24.
Hongxu Qian (Hart), Ben Mckiever (Warr), Michael Smith (Hart), Hunter LaCross (Hart) and John Gauthier (Hart) rounded out the top 10.
On the girls side both teams were incomplete. Hartford's Brynn Tyler placed first with a 23:44. Malia Prevost of Warrensburg was second with a 27:39.
Gabbie McFarren (Hart), MaKenzie Johnson (Hart) and Lilly Joseph (Warr) rounded out the top five.
