Higgins Named Coach of Orlando Predators

A few days ago I wrote about former Lake George football standout Jeff Higgins being inducted into the Capital Region Football Hall of Fame. Well, it turned out to be quite a week for Higgins. Higgins now had been named the new head coach of the Orlando Predators of the National Arena League.

Higgins is a previous coach at Corinth High School and the Glens Falls Greenjackets.

Higgins had been the Predators' strength and conditioning, special teams and wide receivers coach for the 2021 season.

HIggins graduated from Lake George in 1993 and went on to become an All-American at Ithaca College. He also has played for the Greenjackets and several arena football teams.

After coaching at Corinth Higgins took a high school coaching job in Orlando in 2013.
