SVL Boys Soccer All-Stars
The coaches of the Southern Vermont schools recently announced their SVL All-Opponents teams for boys high school soccer. Several players from the Border Country Sports area were recognized by the coaches.
In Division D MSJ who won their first ever Division IV state championship placed four players on the squad. Tyler Corey, Ryan Jones, Andre Prunty and Peter Carlson were selected to the first team from the Mounties.
Joel Denton and Ian French were selected to the first team from Proctor along with West Rutland's Drew Frankenberg.
Honorable Mention was received by Brian Pierce, Sam Paquin, Jake Williams and Ethan Courcelle from MSJ, Tristan Rocke and Garrett Owens of West Rutland and Proctor’s Levi Petit.
In Division B Kieran Williams and Hayden Bernhard were first team selections. Nick Carrabino and Kaylo Stevenson of Fair Haven also earned first team honors.
Honorable Mention went to Noah Beayon of Fair Haven, along with Evan Thomas, Fraser Pierpont and Luca Cifone from Otter Valley.
In Division A Rutland’s Michael O’Connor earned first-team honors.
Raven's players earning Honorable Mention were Brock Quillan, Zak Arshad and Ben Cerreta.
