Vermont Basketball Coaches Name Annual Dream Dozen
The Vermont Basketball Coaches Association has named their annual Dream Dozen for girls basetball and a trio of local players are among the players selected.
The Dream Dozen recognizes the top up and coming younger players in the state.
In Divisions III and IV two Border Country Sports area players were honored. West Rutand's Peyton Guay and Proctor's Isabel Greb were both named to the team.The Golden Horde and the Phantoms just met Saturday in the state championship game with Westside coming away with a one point victory.
In Division I and Division II Rutland's Karsyn Bellomo was named to the squad.

The VBCA will host their "Celebration of Vermont Basketball" featuring the Senior All-Star games March 20th at Champlain Valley Union HIgh School.

Adirondack League Wrestling All-Star Named.
The Adirondack League recently named their wrestling All-Stars for the 2021-2022 season. Wrestlers that represented the ADK and placed at the state championships led the way in the selections.
Warrensburg led the way in all-stars. Division II 285 state champion Tristen Hitchcock, Tanner McKenna (132) Dylan Winchell (126), Dante Corriveau 145, Hunter Nemec (215), Zachary Olden (118), Colton Bell (138), and Caiden Mosher (160). Winchell, Corriveau, and Nemec were state qualifiers.
285 state third place finisher Evan Day was honored from Salem-Cambridge along with Henry Dill (102), Quinn Donaldson (189), and Lucas Martindale.
Granville-Fort Ann was represented by state seventh place finisher Brent Perry (189), Jaxon Torres (110), Quinn Johnson (118) and Thomas McMahon (138).
Whitehall is represented by state sixth place finisher Troy Austin (189) along with Sawyer Ostrander (152)
Wrestlers honored from Hadley Luzerne/Lake George include Logan Marissal who placed fourth at 215 at the state tournament and Carter McIntosh (138).
Honorable Mention honorees were Jade Rumble of Warrensburg (102), Rylie Burr of Salem-Cambridge (215), Nick Crum of Granville-Fort Ann (126), Ethan York of Lake George/Hadley-Luzerne (110), Grace York of Hadley-Luzerne/Lake George (118) and Allen Beaulieu of Whitehall (118).
