Tanagers Fly Away From Salem
The Hartford boys basketball team got off to fast start and flew away from Salem 53-33 in Adiondack League action. The win was the second in a row for the Tanagers who might be putting things togther at the right time.
Hartford used full court press to open an ealy advantage. ''
The Tanagers came out of the gate quickly, jumping out to a 15-2 lead. The teams played evenly at 11-11 in the second quarter as Hartford led 26-13 at the break.
The Tanagers put the game away with a 16-8 fourth quarter.
Logan Reynolds had 16 points for Hartford.Ray Harrington added 14 and JP Lavin 10.
Lavin added 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double. Drake Stewart collected seven boards and Cody Baker six. Harrington dished out four assists.
"Logan played an outstanding game on both ends of the floor and JP dominated the paint," Hartford coach Jason Harrington praised.
Connor Chilson led Salem with 16 points.
Hartford is 7-7, 9-9.

Slaters Roll On Senior Night
It was Senior NIght for the Fair Haven girls basketball, and the five 12 graders who all got the start went out in style. The Slaters raced out to a big early lead and rolled past Woodstock 60-24 in SVL girls basketball.
Seniors Ashley Carvey, Katarina Stevens, Tegan Hoard, Briauna Woodbury and Mercedes Cathcart helped lead the early charge. Carvey scored the first eight points of the game, knocking down a pair of 3-pointers.
Fair Haven led 19-11 after a quarter and 26-13 at halftime.
A 20-5 third quarter spurt put the game out of reach for the Slaters.
Freshman Isabelle Cole paced Fair Haven with 14 points. Carvey chipped in11 points and Lily Briggs nine.
Emma Tarleton led the Wasps with eight points. Morgan Myers added six.
Fair Haven is now 11-4.

Granville completed the season sweep of Corinth, this time taking down the Tomahawks on the road, cruising to a 89-35. The Golden Horde snapped a three-game losing skid with the win.
Four Granville players hit double-digits in the game.
The Golden Horde didn't waste any time, putting this one away early. Granville led 25-5 after a quarter and 53-14 at the half.
Caleb Nelson led Granville with 26 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Matthew Barlow added 13 points,Cody Nelson 12 and Connor Farrell 10.
Farrell added 12 rebounds to complete a double-double.
Kaden Wright led Cornth with 10 points.
Granville is now 9-4, 10-6.

Warrensburg Bounces Back With Win
The Warrensburg boys basketball team bounced back from a loss to Hartford, defeating Whitehall 61-43 in Adirondack League boys basketball.
It was Senior Night for the Burghers and senior Dan Cunniffe, scored 27 points and handed out six assists.
Warrensburg led 10-5 after a quarter, but the second stanza proved decisive as the Burghers outscored Whitehall 19-8.
Stevie Schloss added 16 points for the Burghers.
Brady Cheney collected 12 rebounds.
Latrell Evans led Whtehall with 10 points.
Warrensburg is 7-4, 9-4. Whitehall is 7-6, 10-7.
