Border Country Sports Blog-April 4th

Good Morning! With the Border Country Sports Blog, I'm Keith Harrington.

The Lull Before the Storm

This weekend was sort of like the lull before the storm for me as far as spring sports coverage goes. I actually caught a bit of a break yesterday as I was supposed to travel to Williams College to call a softball doubleheader for NSN, but it was postponed. This week I will be heading out to start to cover high school sports for NYVT Media at Granville, Whitehall and Hartford. This weekend if all goes as planned I will be hopefully heading to Williams once again, this time for college baseball.

I will begin my schedule this week today over in Fort Ann as the Granville girls softball team takes on the Cardinals. Tuesday and Wednesday I will be over in Whitehall. Tuesday the Railroader baseball team plays home against Hartford-Fort Edward.. Wednesday Whitehall softball meets Hartford-Fort Edward.

Don't forget...I am everywhere during the season. If you see me feel free to take a photo to post on Facebook to keepthe "Where's Keith Harrington" trend going.

Monday Morning Hot List Will Return

One of the most popular segments of the Border Country Sports Blog the last couple of years has been the Monday Morning Hot List. This is where I take a look at what high school players and teams were "hot" during the past week. I am happy to announce that beginning next week the Monday Morning HOt List will return.

Every Monday I will write about what teams are on a roll, what players are pitching well, hitting well or just plan performing well in their respective sport.

Remember, if you feel there is a player that is deserving of recognition on the Monday Morning Hot List, please reach out and let me know.
