Scots Blank HFE in ADK Baseball
Argyle got a strong pitching performance from Carson Bartow as they blanked Hartford-Fort Edward 8-0 in Adirondack League baseball.
Bartow went the distance to earn the win on the bump, scattering five hits and striking out six.
Bartow also had a pair of hits for the Scots. Lucas Kingsley was 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs for Argyle. Nate Stanley was 2 for 3 with a double. Caden Cuthburt drove in a pair of runs and Jared Montello doubled.
Ed Amell was 2 for 3 for HFE. JP Lavin doubled.
Drake Stewart sturck out seven for the TanaForts.
Argyle is 1-2, 2-2. Hartford-Fort Edward is 1-2, 2-2.

Lake George Softball Outlasts Rival Burghers
Lake George pounded out 16 hits as they outlasted rival Warrensburg 9-5 in Adirondack League softball action.
The Warriors led 6-1 after the top of the third and held off the Burghers the rest of the way.
Makena Barber earned the win in the circle, giving up five hits while recording five Ks in four innings of duty.
Mattison Stark was 3-5 with a triple.Grace York was 3 for 4. Samantha Gorey was 2 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Mollie Johnson also doubled.
Alohah Olden was 2 for 4 for Warrensburg. Hope Sherman doubled.
Lake George is 3-0, 4-1. Warrensburg is 1-2, 2-2.

Norton Leads Granville Over Cougars
Granville received a stellar pitching performance from Collin Norton as they rolled over North Warren 11-1 in ADK baseball.
Norton went five innings. He struck out six and only walked one while gving up just three hits.
Norton also went 1 for 2 with two RBIs at the plate.
RJ Monger was 2 for 3 and drove in two runs for the Golden Horde. Logan Harrington had two RBIs. Connor Farrell doubled.
Tommy Conway was 2 for 2 with a double for North Warren. Connor Jennings added a hit and an RBI.
Granville is 4-0, 4-0 on the season.

Granville Eases Past North Warren
Granville jumped out to an 11-1 lead after two innings and went on to ease past North Warren 20-7 in Adirondack League softball. The Golden Horde pounded out 17 hits.
Lilly Strout had a huge game at the plate. Strout was 4 for 5 with a double and triple. Strout also scored four runs.
Reagan Swain blasted a three-run homer for the Golden Horde. Swain also doubled. Jordan Chadwick smacked two doubles.
Lauren Bascom earned the win in the circle. '
Nicole Buckman had a strong game for the Cougars.
Granville is 3-0, 3-0. North Warren is 0-4, 0-5.
